Got an interesting piece of mail recently:



It's certainly not everyday that one gets a letter from the FBI. Yes, I know my circuits are supposed to be bug-free, but bugs aren't a federal crime. Or is it? And I'm in Canada; aren't those guys out of their jurisdiction? And where's Agent Scully? Can she handle my case?

Oh, and the post's title? That's the FBI motto.

Yeah, being as you're a foreigner (from my perspective), I'd think CIA would be tracking you down or NSA monitoring your phone calls. Probably you took much joy in that hockey match, best not to talk too much about Canada vs the US I think. Or maybe your mention of the Russians and all this bug talk. It's too late, they're on to you.

Okay...time to spill the beans. What form of espionage are you engaging in? Is it that your blog is too subversive to be read by Americans?

I think it must have been the post (What the Hell is Wrong with You People?) where I questioned the sanity of at least a quarter of you American guys and gals with gently mocking videos to boot. Or perhaps I'm a clandestine FBI agent planted in Canada with this blog as my cover. I could tell you, but then, ...
